Course description
This course has been designed to equip graduates with the knowledge and skills required for practice in the community health area. Emphasis is placed upon the design, implementation and assessment of effective health promotion programs. The course is planned to enhance both theory and practice relevant to community health settings. Students must successfully complete 60 credit points (four semester length units) over one year. Students who enrol in the Graduate Certificate may also apply to proceed to the Graduate Diploma in Public and Community Health.
