This Foundation Degree in Business Information Technology aims to equip you with a broad range of key skills, technical skills and work related skills through effective education and professional work placement.

Two levels, each of 120 credits.

Assessment is through a combination of unseen examination, coursework, essays, group work, reports and presentations. The award of the Foundation Degree is based upon the achievements in all modules throughout the course of study including industrial work experience.
Work Placement
A one-semester industrial placement is compulsory in the fourth semester. During the placement, students will gain valuable experience from working in areas of Business Information Technology.
Career Opportunities
Students will be well placed to take up junior/trainee positions in the Business Information Technology-related sector. Opportunities for graduates are wide-ranging including titles such as business systems analyst, business statisticians, multimedia systems designers and network managers.
