The Amity Law School has the unique distinction of being the first Law School in Delhi to start a 5 year integrated LL.B.(Hons.) Programe. The School was established under the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF), a philanthropic education society with a view to achieve excellence in legal education. It has been granted affiliation by the GGS IP University, Delhi for running the LL.B.(Hons.) Programme and the affiliation has been approved by the Bar Council of India. The Programme seeks to promote multi-disciplinary analysis of the socio-legal problems by designing its course structure and teaching methods to realize these objectives. The methods of teaching in the Law School include lecture discussions, case law analysis, moot court training, project assignments and placement programmes. Debates, moot courts and case law discussions are held in the Law School on a routine basis so as to encourage the students to develop their practical knowledge and acquire practical training in the field of law. The students are encouraged to participate in the moot court competitions and other co-curricular and extra curricular activities organized by the various institutions in the country. In the All India Moot Court Competition organized by the International Institute for Human Rights, our students were awarded certificates of merits and the 2nd and 3rd best performance prizes. In the recently held All Delhi (NCR) Dr. V.K. Jain Memorial Moot Court Competition organized by the School of Law and Legal Studies of IP University our students won the trophy for the best team as well as awards for the best mooter and best memorials. The competition was adjudged by the Honble Justice Mr. Dalveer Bhandari and Honble Justice (Mrs.) Usha Mehra who are sitting judges of the High Court of Delhi.
Recently the Law School organized an All India Inter Law School Trade Mark Quiz Competition 2001 in collaboration with the Singapore law firm of Ella Cheong Mirandah & Sprusons (ECMS) & the Brand Names Education Foundation (BNEF) a not-for-profit organization based in New York and the International Trade Mark Association (INTA), New York. 15 teams, each team consisting of 2 students, representing 9 states participated in the programme. The prizes for the winning teams were awarded by Ms. Ella Cheong & Ms. Gladys Mirandah of the Singapore law firm, ECMS. During the vacation the students are given holiday assignments for court visits and observe the procedure in the courts and also to interview the clients and advocates and make presentations on their observations. They have also been participating in the Lok Adalat Programme organized by the Legal Services Authority in Delhi. The Law School is publishing a bi-annual law journal namely the Amity Law Review containing articles by eminent jurists from India and abroad, besides news, views & notifications and book review. The Law School has a well equipped library with more than 11,000 volumes which include books, journals, law reports and periodicals. The Law School is subscribing to more than 20 journals and law reports on a regular basis. The School has a well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty who are committed to the cause of quality legal education. In addition, the School has a panel of visiting professors and guest speakers drawn from lawyers, judges and law professors of outstanding knowledge and experience whose interaction with the students and the faculty will maximize their learning opportunities and widen their knowledge base.

Chemical Technology presents a variety of opportunities for students. The work profile might involve managing and formulating chemical processes that can provide better volumes at cheaper costs.
Who should go for it:
Chemical technology promises to throw all the possible challenges a person may not be able to handle at once. So this field is not for the people who think they might just get to change their field in case they do not get adapted to it. This is meant for the people with a strong resolve to carry on in the face of failure as a lot depends on a chemical engineer in order to make a lot more things than just chemical equations to work.
Duration: 4+ 2 years
Eligibility Conditions: Pass in 12th class of 10+2 pattern or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics (including practical) provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core or elective) in the qualifying examination.
